Scottsdale stabbing at nightclub leaves man in hospital

Article from Scottsdale News

“A man was in critical condition after he was repeatedly stabbed at a Scottsdale nightclub early Monday morning, the second stabbing at the club this year.

Scottsdale police arrived at Martini Ranch, in Old Town Scottsdale, shortly after 1:30 am and found a 34-year-old man who had been stabbed several times in the back.

The man was stabbed as he was attempting to leave the club, according to the Scottsdale Police Department. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police have limited information regarding the suspected attacker and are looking for a Black man, 5 foot 8 inches tall, wearing a red or black baseball cap, dark shirt, jeans and red shoes. This is the same club where former Arizona State University football player Tyrice Thompson, 27, was fatally stabbed during an altercation on Jan. 27. Thompson, a bouncer for Martini Ranch, was stabbed after ejecting a couple from the club.”

Violent and dangerous crimes receive a lot of attention in the media. Because there is so much attention paid to crimes such as homicide and aggravated assault, prosecutors can often bring about charges without fully investigating specific cases.

Whether they do not want to appear soft on crime or they are looking for positive headlines to boost their careers, these motives can greatly hurt your case if you do not have the help of an experienced defense attorney. A Mesa violent crimes defense attorney at Naegle & Crider Criminal Defense Attorneys can help with a variety of violent crimes.
